> LAMINATED
With laminated glass we can obtain unparalleled results in the field of physical safety, the best assault-proofing, thief-proofing, bullet-proofing, etc. Furthermore by using Silence it is possible to protect the home and isolate it against the increasing irritations of noise pollution.

Stadip

Safety glass consisting of two or more panes closely joined by inserting sheets of plastic (polyvinyl butyral) between them. This material has been chosen for its notable qualities of resistance, adherence and elasticity.

The butyral is adhered to the glass by heat treatment and pressure. The product obtained has the same transparency as any other glass of the same thickness.
In the event of breakage, the pieces of glass stay sticking to the butyral, and the assembly stays in the frame, providing safety for people and preventing entry through the window, to guarantee total security.
The finished product can be tooled in any way (cutting, boring, etc.).
By changing the nature, number and thickness of the components, assemblies with different characteristics can be produced: the resistance can be modified to provide anything from physical safety level to bullet-proof protection.
In the manufacture of laminated glass all types of PLANILUX, PARSOL, PINK, REFLECTASOL, COOL-LITE and Planitherm panes can be combined.

Please consult us on use in large windows in swimming pools and aquariums, as the necessary thickness needs to be calculated for each specific case.

This glass can be manufactured laminated with translucent interleafs, light-diffusing and coloured.

Guideline applications:

Stadip physical safety

General construction

Stadip Assault-proof

Shop windows, business premises, parapets and sills, schools, public centres, protection of works of art, etc.

Stadip Anti-theft

Shop-windows, jewellers, fur-shops, gun shops, art exhibitions, banks, etc.

Stadip Bullet-proof

Bank teller windows, chemists, lottery agencies, military facilities, armoured vehicles, etc.

Stadip Silence

STADIP SILENCE is a laminated product consisting of two or more panes between which a sheet of special butyral is inserted with a high capacity for acoustic insulation and adherence to the glass, together with high resistance and elasticity.
Subjected to a process of pressure and temperature, the assembly forms a solid compact block capable of resisting accidental knocks.
In the event of an accident, the pieces of glass stick to the butyral, and the assembly remains in the frame.
An 8 mm thick STADIP SILENCE gives insulation of 36 dB, the equivalent of an 19 mm thick monolithic glass.

Applications

Housefronts, hospitals, crèches, libraries, shop windows, offices at street level, acoustic screens on motorways, lifts, bulkheads, doors.
Thanks to the dramatic reduction in the weight and thickness, they can be adapted to a double glazing arrangement, to give better thermal control.
