> Basic Climalit® chamber glass
Basic Climalit glass fulfils a “heat function”, since it impedes temperature exchanges between the environments on either side of it, and this protects against both the cold and the heat. This relative reduction in heat flows as compared with single glazing is due to the heat resistance of the dry still air enclosed in the chamber.

In winter, the temperature of the face of the double glazing facing into the interior of the dwelling is higher than that of a monolithic pane, thus reducing “cold wall” effect and, consequently, the chance of condensation forming - the normal culprit for the formation of “fug” on a monolithic pane. This makes for a more comfortable room, even in areas next to the windows.
